Words from Milagros Regalado: "RGV Juniors, especially Founder and Head Coach Oscar Segovia, taught me the finest parts of what it means to be a volleyball player but also what it means to be an exceptional athlete.
Long days of practice, 2-day Tournaments, and the friends I made in my time at RGV are my memorable moments, but just as much as they are were my side conversations with Oscar. Moments of self doubt and questioning would quickly change after a talk with him as he knew what it was like to feel not worthy of such opportunities, but knew to never let them slip away without effort.
Being apart of RGV Juniors is an experience I will never forget and one I wish to bestow upon all young athletes. I learned lessons and advice I still follow through every day, even while not actively pursuing a career in volleyball. I dream I could experience RGV Jr.s one more time around, it was just such a life altering program to be apart of!"
